Every Monday after work, Mariella would teach us to crochet, while talking to us about Montalbano, swimming and her family and drinking ginger beers. I will never forget those evenings

When I interviews her for the assistant post we’d seen about 4 people before her – all suited and with all the buzz words. Then Mariella walked in sweating, holding a book and expressing about the job and her life and we knew immediately she was the one for us!

We really enjoyed getting together to eat and play games. She will be missed. I will always remember her with a smile on her face.
